Me in Moringa garden

11-17-2015:

Hi everybody. I just wanted to say thank you for all who have been following and supporting my work at MdL. My year at MdL ended last week and I’m back in Columbus, OH now. I’m currently working on some final updates on the projects, so stay tuned!

Greetings and welcome! This site will describe the projects I am undertaking at Montaña de Luz, a home for children affected by HIV/AIDS in Honduras which I first visited and fell in love with in 2008. In November of 2014, after finishing up my PhD in Electrical Engineering at Ohio State, I came down to MdL to begin a one year volunteer position to work on developing sustainable practices at MdL.

The purpose of this site is to provide updates and information on projects for all those interested as well as a way to keep my own documentation organized and up to date. Please follow the links to pages above for general and introductory information or the links to the right for the most recent updates.

  2. I visited your garden last summer with a Canadian group and am still very inspired. So glad I just found this link. I am a Rotarian who is planning a large project in the Moroceli area with the poorest villages and hope to incorporate some of your ideas. Thanks for these postings! I may have questions as I progress:)
